Caring for your embroidered garment:
Our creations are heirloom pieces and crafted from pure natural fabrics and intricate handcrafted embellishments. With proper care, they can be cherished for generations.
● Dry clean only. Do not wash, bleach, or tumble dry at home.
● Keep away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as natural dyes and delicate fabrics may gradually fade.
● Avoid spraying perfume, deodorant, or other chemicals directly onto the fabric or embroidery.
● Handle embellished areas with care to preserve the beauty of the handcrafted work.
Storing your emebroidered garment:
● Store your garment in a breathable muslin bag or cloth to protect the fabric while allowing air circulation.
● Place acid-free tissue paper between folds to protect delicate embroidery, sequins, zari, and embellishments.
● Refold the garment every 3–4 months to prevent permanent creases from developing.
● Lightweight pieces may be stored on padded hangers, while heavily embroidered garments should always be stored flat.
Travelling with embroidered garment:
For the best results, gently roll your saree or garment instead of folding it, particularly if it is crafted from delicate fabrics such as chiffon, organza, or silk. This helps minimise creasing and protects the embroidery during transit.
